Gender Exploration Carnival Call For Submissions: October 2021

Hello, I’m hosting the Gender Exploration Carnival again this month. The theme for this month is “Masculinity and Femininity.” Some of these questions are more about presentation in general or about alignment, but I thought they were related enough to fit with this topic

Some ideas for things to write about:

  • Do you think or yourself as feminine, masculine, both or neither? Does this fluctuate?
  • How do you interact with concepts like masculinity and femininity? Do you find them useful? Do you think they apply to you personally?
  • How do you feel most comfortable appearing? How did you figure this out? If you’re still figuring it out, what sorts of things are you interested in exploring?
  • Do you consider yourself transmasculine or transfeminine? Why or why not?
  • Are you familiar with terms like transneutral or transandrogynous? Do you identify with terms like this?
  • Do you use man-aligned or woman-aligned terminology? Why or why not?
  • Do you use other systems like the Galactian Alignment System? What do you like about these systems? How do they help you understand your identity?

The deadline for submissions is 2am EST on November 1st, but I’ll accept submissions until I get the round-up posted, likely sometime late on November 2nd. Submissions can be made through links in the comments, pingbacks or my contact box. If you would like to make an anonymous submission you can email it to me at theacelinkreservoir@gmail.com and I’ll post it to this blog for you.

If you’d like to volunteer to host the carnival yourself you can volunteer over here.
